Local Relief Funds for Colorado Small Businesses

As the CARES Act funding came and went, Colorado organizations collaborated and stepped up to the plate to take care of our small business community. Below is a list we will keep updated with new opportunities and new information as we come across it.



Relief Fund Options for Colorado Small Businesses


Apply for emergency relief funding of up to $25,000. Offering mentoring as well.

Grants of $2,500 to $25,000 to certain types of storefront small businesses located within the boundaries of the DDA. Deadline to apply is April 22nd.

Eligible community-based organizations across Colorado may receive a general operating grant of up to $25,000. The first deadline awards were announced April 16,

2020. Funds are currently only being distributed in the Prevention and Impact priority areas. Recovery will be opened at a later date

Applications accepted as of Monday, April 20 and the deadline is May 2, 2020.

Microloans up to $15k, 0% interest, 12-36 months, and no fees

Microloans, SBA loan lender, and lines of credit

Resources include comprehensive lists for deferrals, loans, and grants for small businesses and nonprofits broken down by county and industry

Microloans for businesses with 5 or fewer employees, requiring capital of $15,000 or less

Funding closed currently, Congress is working on a bill to replenish the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) and the EIDL (Economic Injury Disaster Loan) with $270B. We will keep you updated. Learn more about these programs here.

Save Small Business

An initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation for small businesses with 3-20 employees, you will need your W-9 form. Grants will be awarded weekly but you need only apply once. APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY CLOSED, CHECK BACK


Verizon

LISC will use the Verizon funding to provide grants of up to $10,000 to businesses facing immediate financial pressure because of Covid-19—especially entrepreneurs of color, women-owned businesses and other enterprises in historically underserved communities who don’t have access to flexible, affordable capital.

Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, April 28 at 11:59PM EST.
